Knipnäs Gård is entering a new phase as the Center for Wellbeing, which has operated on the site for many years, ceases to exist as a separate entity. Going forward, activities will be developed more clearly under the unified Knipnäs Gård name, bringing together the historic setting, accommodation, events, workspaces and community as a more coherent whole.

The aim of the change is to open up Knipnäs’s unique environment more widely to travellers, companies, event organisers and different communities. Its seaside location, historic building and extensive park-like grounds provide an exceptional setting for both visitors and businesses and organisations based at Knipnäs.

Accommodation is being actively developed

Knipnäs Gård’s accommodation capacity is being expanded in stages, with the aim of offering more options for both individual travellers and groups. Accommodation is already available in the historic Main Building, Rosengården Hostel and Läkarvillan.

The goal is to develop Knipnäs into a place where you can spend a weekend, organise an event or combine accommodation with, for example, a company day, retreat or celebration.

The spaces will continue to serve courses and events

Although the Center for Wellbeing’s own course activities are ending, the spaces at Knipnäs remain well suited to courses, retreats, training and workshops.

A range of halls, meeting and event spaces and accommodation options are available within the same grounds. The historic atmosphere and peaceful natural surroundings make Knipnäs a place where focused work, creativity and memorable experiences come together.

New businesses, organisations and ideas are welcome

Knipnäs Gård wants to enable an even wider range of activities in the future. Possibilities include corporate events, private celebrations, art exhibitions, cultural events and various pop-up and community concepts.

A diverse group of businesses, organisations and service providers is already based at Knipnäs, and workspaces are available to rent for different purposes. You can find out more about the businesses and organisations currently based here on our website.

A daycare centre has opened on the first floor

The first floor of the Main Building now has a new occupant with the opening of a daycare centre. This brings more everyday life to the building while the rest of the property continues to operate around accommodation, events and workspaces.
