Beatrice Johansson

Tactile Stimulation is a calming full-body touch treatment based on slow, systematic strokes.

I’m Beatrice Johansson, and I have a treatment room at Knipnäs.

I offer Tactile Stimulation, a gentle full-body treatment designed to promote wellbeing. The treatment uses slow, systematic strokes on the front and back of the body. Tactile Stimulation promotes the release of oxytocin, a hormone associated with wellbeing.

Touch and increased oxytocin levels in the bloodstream can have a range of positive effects. Touch can have a calming and relaxing effect, lower cortisol levels and thereby reduce stress in the body.

During the treatment, the client remains covered with towels and a blanket, with only the part of the body being treated uncovered. The treatment lasts approximately 50 minutes. Price: €30.

Welcome!

The treatment room can also be used by other healthcare and wellbeing professionals. If you are interested, please contact Knipnäs Gård.

I’m Marja-Liisa Lehto. I graduated as a Beröringspedagog, or touch practitioner, from Skola för Beröring in Malmö on 7 December 2023. I work at Knipnäs Gård, where I provide touch treatments using the Tactile Stimulation method. The full-body treatment uses gentle strokes and pressure in a consistent sequence, applied with oiled hands.

Gentle touch promotes the release of oxytocin into the bloodstream. Oxytocin can have positive effects on health and quality of life, promote a sense of wellbeing, support relaxation and reduce stress.

During the treatment, the client is covered with towels and a blanket. Only the part of the body being treated is uncovered. A touch treatment lasts approximately 50 minutes.

My previous professional experience includes working as a nurse, public health nurse and teacher in health and social care. Today I work as a touch practitioner and first-aid trainer.

Welcome!
