It all started over 100 years ago with Joseph Pilates, a visionary who believed that movement could heal the body. He developed a system that combines strength, flexibility, and control — and it’s still just as powerful today. Pilates is all about connecting with your body in a whole new way. It’s a practice that helps you build core strength while improving your posture, flexibility, and balance.
I am Ecem Öksüz, International Pilates Instructor from Turkey and I am staying in Knipnäs these following months. In my teaching I focus on balancing and stretching of the body. I am searching for ways of expanding the limits of our existence and connecting with our emotions through our movements. I have been doing pilates myself for 18 years now and I have witnessed the strength, balance and flexibility it brought me and my clients. I will be happy to see you in my class!
